Yoga practice can be undertaken at any stage in life, with any body type or constitution. You do not have to be flexible to begin. With practice one will develop it's benefits and increase their health, vitality, and movement.
The Beginner classes are run in a 6 week course format. They introduce the basic techniques, movements and positions and teach correct breathing and body / breath coordination. When the beginner level practice is working well these basics are further developed in the General level classes.
It is important to avoid eating and drinking prior to attending class. Wear comfortable clothing that doesn't restrict your movement and please inform your teacher if you are injured in any way or pregnant.
